24 The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad.
New King James Version
35 All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him: “What have you done?â€
21 In the Lord’s hand the king’s heart is a stream of water that he channels toward all who please him.
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
47 Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life.
7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.â€
8 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.â€
9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.
35 And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berekiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.
